McGROUPE's Founder & Principal Consultant, has over two decades of experience in IT Marketing in the Federal / DOD, Smart Energy & Broadband Networking, IT Services & Applications, Wireless, and Enterprise markets.

Marty holds an active US Government security clearance and has varied and multifaceted experience in the strategic planning, development, and direction of global sales and integrated marketing programs in No. & So. America, Europe, Mid / Far East, and Africa.

Most recently, Marty led the corporate & product marketing functions (MarCom, PR, Website, Media Outreach, Salesware, Graphics design/style, etc.) for Eka Systems  - a wireless Smart Networking solutions provider for Advanced Meter Infrastructure systems to the $100B global Utility and energy markets.

Before Eka Systems, Marty lead SafeNet-Mykotronx's  U.S. Federal Government Marketing for Type 1 (classified) & Type 3 (SBU) solutions with integrated programs of marcom, marketing research, lead generation, strategic events, trade shows, outbound promotion, and brand awareness. Before founding McGROUPE, Marty was Director of Marketing at 3e Technologies International and also Enterasys Networks where he was responsible for brand marketing and promotion of wireless solutions & services offerings.

While at Motorola , Marty lead the Global Marketing Directorate in its Network Solution Sector and was responsible for the marketing of public access networks, communications technologies and user applications.

Prior to Motorola, Marty was International Marketing Director at Lucent Technologies where he directed the marketing program for Lucent’s IPO launch and managed a multi-cultural team responsible for messaging development & delivery of sales & relationship marketing programs.

Preceding Lucent, He held various Marketing, Sales Planning, Engineering and software development positions at AT&T .

Marty has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rutgers University. He has attended Stevens Institute of Technology’s Graduate Program, Kellog Executive Programs’ Marketing Studies, and Columbia University’s Leadership & Management Series. Marty lives with his son, an avid ice hockey player. His daughter is a Birth Doula (DONA) in the Philadelphia community where she and her husband reside with his two grand daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys: his family, ice hockey and traveling.
